Studio Guidelines

Booking And Billing

Please check with reception before each of your sessions to ensure your account is up to date. We accept cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard, and debit cards. Payment for classes must be made at least one week prior to session start date. All fees are subject to HST excluding Physiotherapy.

Prepaid sessions are non-refundable. Those who cancel class at least 2 working days prior to the class start date will be refunded, less a $30.00 administration fee. Cancellations after this point will not be refunded. By registering for a class, you agree to adhere to these policies.

To prevent being billed for unattended sessions, we require a minimum of 12 hours notice for ALL changes or cancellations of booked classes or appointments. Cancellations must be made by telephone or in person. Unfortunately we will not accept cancellations by email. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Late Registration

Clients may join group classes that are not full upon the instructor’s/studio’s approval. We will not accept late registration for Introductory Classes after the second week unless the client has previous Pilates experience or has been participating in Private sessions.

Insured Referrals

Some extended health care programs cover referrals by recognized health professionals. Contact your insurance company for information.

Missed Classes

We will allow two makeup classes per eight-week Mat session as long as a minimum of 12 hours notice is given for a missed class.

Without notice we assume clients will be attending, which makes it difficult for others to make up classes during that time given the nature of our intimate classes.

We will allow one makeup class per session for Reformer Groups. Classes can be made up during the current session and at the same level or lower. You must call in advance to reserve a space in scheduled classes.

Missed classes cannot be carried over to another session. Please adjust your schedule to make-up class availability.

We cannot guarantee make-up class space availability within each client’s personal schedules.

What To Wear

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing (loose fitting but not bulky) such as t-shirts with shorts or leggings. Shoes are not necessary. Please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes in our facility in consideration for those with allergies. Please leave cell phones and pagers outside the studio.

Privacy Policy

Privacy of your personal information is extremely important. Any personal information will be collected strictly for the purpose of client records and occasional communication of services, promotions and events. Your information will not be disclosed or shared with any third party without your consent.

Terms & Conditions

All services purchased from Spine Stretch Studio Inc must be preceded by the applicant acknowledging, by the way of completing a Health Intake Form, that he/she has no physical limitations preventing him/her from participation. Furthermore, all applicants release Spine Stretch Studio Inc, its owners, directors, managers and all employees of all liability regarding 1) any injury to self or child 2) any loss or damage to personal properties. Guests under the age of 18. In order to ensure an appropriate and relaxing environment and experience for all of our Guests, we ask the following: One adult per child please. Children under the age of 12 must have a parent or guardian in the facility during their treatment. The parent/guardian must also provide written consent before any services commence.

Undergarments must be worn during all massage treatments. All Guests must keep volume to a minimum when in quiet zones as not to disrupt other Guests. Spine Stretch Studio reserves the right to terminate any service at any point if we feel that the child is interrupting other Guests’ relaxation.

To register or purchase from the Spine Stretch Studio Inc online booking system, you must be over 18 years of age. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete. Internet E-Mail – Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium (ie – cellular phones, post office mail), not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration.

Endorsements – No endorsements or approval of any third parties or their advice, opinions, information, products or services is expressed or implied by any Information. Links/Software – Links from the web or to web sites outside the Site are meant for convenience only. Spine Stretch Studio Inc. does not review, endorse, approve or control, and is not responsible for any sites linked from or to the Site, the content of those sites, the third parties named herein, or their products and services. Purchase Policy

All product purchases may be returned within 14 days for full refund. Returns are valid only for products that have not been opened, used or damaged. We do not accept returns on skincare and body care items that have been opened or damaged. Prepaid sessions are non refundable. All private, semi-private, trio packages, and group pilates classes packages and single session drop-ins are non-transferable. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit and cash. You may also use Spine Stretch Studio Gift Cards for Holistic Nutrition and Registered Massage Therapy. Payment for Products & Services – All Credit Cards will be processed in Canadian Dollars at the time of payment. Spine Stretch Studio Inc is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates of additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.

Weather / Emergency Cancellations

If classes are cancelled due to bad weather or other emergencies, you will be notified by phone two hours or more before the class is scheduled to begin. Cancellations will also be stated on the Studio answering machine. Cancelled classes will be added to the end of the current class session.
